In the 1990's the Sony Handy cam 8mm was what we used to video our children. I was able to find an 8mm cam , so I could transfer about 20 tapes we had , transfer on a T1 external hard drive , for our kids to watch how they grew up.

I just posted a video on my channel involving the kitchen area of the location while exploring there’s a scale in the basement it went crazy we asked it questions yes or no with the scale we also found blood and heard noises in the area as well very eerie.

The gadget that you were looking at that had a small screen looks like something that we used to use when I was growing up to view and splice your 8 millimeter films.

I have followed Kent on Ghosts of Carmel, Maine, for years now and he is the real deal. There is a complete story of many people who lived in that village a century ago, and he pieces it all together, by what the spirits tell him. He verifies that these spirits DID live many, many years ago, and the historical society has been able to give him more info on the people and some photos, plus who was related to whom. Excellent channel. Although he is slowing down his investigations as he said things turned very dark.
